The U.S.S. Pennsylvania was a 120 gun first-rate ship of the line. She was authorized by Congress to be built on April 29, 1816 and was the largest sailing warship ever built for the U.S. Navy. She was designed and built by Samuel Humphreys in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. She was not launched until July 18, 1837, due to budget restraints. The U.S.S. Pennsylvania clock is the perfect gift for lovers of US Naval History. Shop today!
The ship in the clock design is a reproduction of an original watercolor by Lee M. Buchanan. As part of our Heirloom Designer Collection, this clock features hand-crafted nautical designs between each of the numbers on the clock face.
The clock features a wooden frame, plexiglass face and a backside hook. It is for indoor use and requires one AA battery that is not included. You chose the finish for the frame and hands.
