The Cape Cod Catboat Sea Hound has a sheered cockpit platform and was more of a pleasure boat than a work boat. The Sea Hound was one of four “sea class” catboats built by Charles Crosby that sailed off New Haven, Connecticut about 1911. Catboat lovers and sailing enthusiasts will enjoy this clock where ever they happen to be. Great gift idea!
The boat design in the clock is a reproduction of an original watercolor by Lee M. Buchanan. This clock features Roman numerals and will add a classic touch to any room in your home. The clock has a wooden frame, plexiglass face and a pre-installed backside hook for hanging. It is for indoor use and requires one AA battery, not included. You have choices for the frame and clock hands finishes.
